Website
the solution provides a website template that provides a homepage and a link to all the electronic forms that citizens will fill out. The template includes areas to describe the forms and provide general announcements. The Government Online website can be custom branded to blend into the look and feel that the agency website already provides and can fit within the menu structure for the current site. Finally, the website can be launched as a stand alone website as well for a single agency or for multi-agency environments.

Secure
Depending on the agency’s needs, the Government Online solution can be made available only to registered users. This is required for interactive electronic forms that capture confidential information. Unregistered uses can fill out forms and have the agency contact them separately via email, phone or mail depending on the request. Whether the users are registered or not, the information transmitted through the Government Online solution is encrypted and secure.

Electronic Forms
e-forms are an integral part of the solution and provide a rich, dynamic and interactive experience for citizens. These online forms are NOT static, in that a citizen fills out a form, prints it out and faxes it to the agency. Once the form is filled out, the information captured in the form is electronically sent to the agency’s database or systems for further processing. It is important to note that there is a significant difference between the static and dynamic approach that makes it possible to gain process efficiencies.
